Introducing Oakhouse Counseling

It’s been such an unusual year, hasn’t it?! Some days have been thrilling and full of hopeful promise, while other moments have been quite frightening. Amid the chaos of a year that included a pandemic, an election, sudden homeschoolers everywhere (!), and interesting, new facial accessories – we also experienced a few great things. We met so many wonderful clients, spent more time at home with our loved ones, and connected with neighbors who needed everything from toilet paper to friendly, familiar faces reminding them they are not alone. That said, we’re more than happy to close the book on 2020. We look forward to 2021 with a sense of real expectation, both personally and as a counseling practice.

Oakhouse Counseling is launching into this new year with a new team member (check out Jason Hindman’s bio), a new visual identity, and this website (you’ve obviously discovered us – welcome!) to match our big purpose: seeing our clients get better, grow new roots, and eventually flourish right where you are planted. None of us know what 2021 will bring; we know there will be days of gentle rains and sunshine, but the winds will occasionally howl as they do. We offer our Oakhouse as a shelter and solace – a place to pause, discuss, and recover your momentum. Welcome.
